APLF Hong Kong

From 31st March to the 2nd April this is the next big fair in our diary and looks to be very important this year as we try and understand the changes going on in the market.  After the IILF in Chennai it is clear that the market has sectors which are still doing all right and that although no one is happy with the course of events the industry will survive. Because of the difficulty of access to money who actually will survive is unpredicatble, and with overcapacity in the industry linked with strong growth plans from some coutnries the location and structure of the industry is uncertain. Add to this the situation in China wher the government has shown it would prefer to invest in other industries, but has been shocked by its need for the jobs provided then it becomes clear that we need to be in Hong Kong to get a feel for what will happen.

And of course the Corium Club Leather Centenary party is only at the APLF
